Welcome to Edenwood.
Are you exhausted from the pace of life and weary from the demands of living in an “always-on-call” technological world? Do you need to reconnect with yourself, your loved one, and the beauty of nature? Are you looking to explore the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville and the surrounding Western North Carolina area?
Post-Helene Message
We are open as of October 10th and Edenwood did not sustain major damage. We created Edenwood to be a retreat and a respite, a place to reconnect with your loved one and yourself as you experience the beauty that surrounds you, both inside our properties and outside on the grounds. While the impacts of Hurricane Helene on our community were greater than we could have imagined, and our area won’t look or feel the same for some time, serving guests through Edenwood is our purpose and our properties are ready to welcome you. Henderson County is no longer restricting outside visitors. Local businesses are up and running and know when you visit Edenwood, you are also supporting other local businesses. Any guest that stays 2+ nights has access to a complimentary, personalized itinerary curated by Juniper, a local business, who helps travelers explore the best of our area. This is an incredibly valuable offering to guests during this time of recovery.
We created Edenwood unique mountain cabin vacation rentals for our guests because we understand the importance of getting away from the daily grind and finding rest, solitude, beauty, and play. Edenwood properties were designed to provide unique experiences for our guests to promote rest, reconnection, and rejuvenation.
What We Promise Our Guests:
Intentional Spaces
Both The Barn at Edenwood and The Treehouse at Edenwood were intentionally designed as unique getaway experiences for couples or solo travelers. We partnered with local RiseRoot Architecture and Design to create properties with a sense of place and high quality design. Every square foot of each vacation rental was designed with our guests’ needs in mind. In addition, we ready each property for your arrival with care and special touches to welcome you. We take care of the details so you can take care of yourselves and focus on your purpose for getting away.
Private Mountain Setting
Edenwood properties are situated on a 6 acre plot of land on an historic mountain in Hendersonville, NC. The properties are located in a quiet mountain neighborhood and were situated and built on the acreage with your privacy in mind. The Barn at Edenwood and The Treehouse at Edenwood are each barely visible to the other, though connected via a three minute walking trail in the event couples want to travel together and rent both properties. We haven’t sought to maximize our profits by building multiple units in close proximity – we value our guests’ privacy more than profits.
Convenient Location
While providing guests privacy, Edenwood properties are:
- 10 minutes from Lennox Station on the Ecusta Trail

The Barn at Edenwood
With an ode to the old tobacco barns dotting the Appalachian Valleys, The Barn at Edenwood is your approachable luxury getaway in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Fall asleep under the stars as the luxe bed faces 60 feet of floor to ceiling windows. Soak in the loft’s 150 gallon tub under the glow of a vintage chandelier. Listen to the Edenwood pond summer frogs as you enjoy the glowing embers of a fire in our smokeless firepit.
We absolutely loved staying at the Barn and felt it was by far the best getaway experience we have ever had. It is truly a private getaway spot that has been thoughtfully curated to give you the best experience possible. We felt completely at ease and relaxed during our entire stay and wished we could stay even longer! This is absolutely a place we would return to and we cannot recommended staying here enough.
Beautiful, private, and perfect! One of the best stays I’ve ever had on airbnb. The host is so thoughtful and made our trip extra special. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!
The Treehouse at Edenwood
The Treehouse at Edenwood rests on a ridge overlooking the Etowah Valley and boasts winter only views of Mt. Pisgah. The Treehouse’s design is whimsical nostalgia, taking you back to mid-century summer camp days with little luxuries you need as an adult traveler. Find yourself relaxing as you take the three minute trail under the lights down to The Treehouse. Enjoy the crackling of the fire as you soak in the Cedar Wood Burning Hot Tub. And don’t forget to bring your furry friends – The Treehouse is dog-friendly and can accommodate up to two non-agressive breed dogs!
I have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world… and this is the first where I feel positive that I will return. I was prepared for how lovely the house was based on the photos, but the privacy and serenity was absolutely incredible. We truly felt like we were miles from anyone else.
Hands down one of the most beautiful & amazing places I’ve ever stayed!!! LOVED the firewood hot tub, the windows and the best views from the bed! All the different places to sit & kick back to relax, are also amazing! Truly a paradise and we’re so grateful we brought groceries, because we never left:) Worst part about this experience is that we didn’t book a longer stay! We WILL BE BACK! AMAZING!!!
